Boot Camps and Classes

• RTC Boot Camp will transform an application from the Classic Client to the new Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2009 RoleTailored Client (RTC) in a few days. Seeing your own application in the RoleTailored Client helps developers envision the Role-Tailored interface in your environment. After this, you can continue refining the application for final release.
• Development Standard Boot Camp makes it easier to implement a new or existing ISV solution with an already customized database or other ISV product. What’s more, adding Online Help, Captions and Translations can help you prepare the application for Microsoft Dynamics NAV certification.
• RTC Transformation Class teaches you all the new features available for a developer in the RoleTailored Client. The process of moving from forms to pages is a whole new discipline. This class will teach you how to get started and what to avoid during the transformation process. The class also includes hands-on exercises.
• Mergetool Class will teach developers how to upgrade applications more precisely and quickly. By using standard development procedures, the quality of your solutions will also be improved.

Products

• "Easy Security" was announced March 30 2010. Setting up permissions in NAV can be a very time consuming task. With Easy Security including features as Groups of Roles, Groups of Companies, Permissions as User ID, Permission Recorder and many more feature is it much simpler. Permissions can also be setup directly from the RoleTailored Client.
• Mergetool.com continues to develop and enhance the Mergetool product. This 15-year-old tool continues to evolve and works with all object types added in NAV 2009. The Mergetool products and improved versions are still available to developers at no charge.

Mergetool.com focuses on delivering services, tools and products for Microsoft Dynamics NAV (formerly known as Navision).

We started working with RoleTailored Transformation in October 2007 as part of the original NAV 2009 TAP (Technology Adapter Program).

The first live customer on NAV 2009 was installed with our software. As part of the NAV 2009 SP1 TAP our customers were among the first to go live on NAV 2009 SP1 as well.
