NAV Easy Security is a complete solution for the RoleTailored and Classic clients for setup and maintenance of permissions in Microsoft Dynamics NAV – saving you time, money and resources when setting up security.

NAV Easy Security for Roles and Logins, but also with the enhanced Field Level, Actions and Data Security fulfill every need for security for even the most complex security setup.

NAV Easy Security is available in English, German, Danish and Dutch. Spanish, French and more languages are expected to be released within 3 months.

Easy Security - Roles and Logins

NAV Easy Security makes it very easy to set up roles and permissions for multiple users across multiple companies.

Easy Security contains a Permission Recorder, that captures permissions simply by using the application. By adding a Source Code Analyzer on top of the recordings, roles are created correctly the first time, avoiding a costly trial and error approach when creating a new role or updating an existing.  

In the standard NAV application it is a very time-consuming and challenging task to assign the right roles to the right users. NAV Easy Security simplifies this process by allowing you to create groups of roles and companies and assign these to users. A user can also be assigned the same permissions as another user – meaning you only need to maintain one user.

Easy Security also makes Form or Page-Level Security (and other object-type level security) very simple. You only have to select the objects that you want to limit access to, NAV Easy Security automatically maintains permissions for the remainder of the objects.

Field Level, Actions and Data Security

When regular security based on data and objects in Microsoft Dynamics NAV is not enough, Field Level, Actions and Data Security can add extra capabilities like hiding fields, making actions impossible to click or showing only some records based on filters. For example can the Sales Order have of most actions disabled - the “Post” action removed, and only a few editable fields - all dynamically controlled from Field Level, Actions and Data Security.

NAV Easy Security consists of only new objects and require no merging when installed in a database. An install engine for Field Level, Actions and Data Security is included and can be run by a customer with module 7200 (Application Designer) or by the partner. Complete un-install is also possible allowing removal of the code changes when upgrading or merging code.
