First RTC Bootcamp very successful

Mergetool.com has conducted the  first RTC Bootcamp for a Danish ISV. During the Bootcamp we moved the ISV’s solution, a product with 250 new and several modified base forms, from 4.00 to 2009 SP1. After the transformation, 99% of the forms were working in the RoleTailored Client. After the four day Bootcamp, Role Centers, FactBoxes and additional features unique to the RoleTailored client were working in the RoleTailored client as well.

First Mergetool and RTC Transformation Class

Also, in February, a Mergetool and RTC Transformation class was taught in Europe. In this three day class 5 students were trained in how to merge and transform NAV applications. The exercises in the class included merging and transforming a real application. After this training the attendees are ready to tackle upgrades and transformations much more efficiently.

New Version of the Mergetool and TIFPM

A new version, PM112, of the Mergetool and matching TIFPM tool has been released. This version includes additional features for RoleTailored transformation and creation of Online help. The latest version can be downloaded here.
