Mergetool.com focuses on delivering products, tools and services for Microsoft Dynamics NAV (formerly known as Navision). We started working with RoleTailored Transformation in October 2007 as part of the original NAV 2009 TAP (Technology Adapter Program). The first live customer on NAV 2009 was installed with our software. As part of the NAV 2009 SP1 TAP our customers where among the first to go live on NAV 2009 SP1.

Development of the Mergetool

Continued development of the Mergetool.

• Keeping a development tool up to date with the latest changes is mandatory..We are committed to supporting new features and objects types as soon as possible inside Mergetool.
• New Mergetool features will remain free of charge.

The new Mergetool was released in March 2011. The tool is still free with full source code access for all Dynamics NAV partners.

Other Microsoft Dynamics NAV Products

NAV Easy Security was released in June 2010.

The Mergetool, Online Help Tool and Source Code Analyzer were released in March 2011. It is now available for Dynamics NAV customer to purchase too.

Field Level, Action and Data Security addition to NAV Easy Security was released in July 2011.

In the future we will develop other products for Microsoft Dynamics NAV.

About Per Mogensen

Per Mogensen is the founder of Mergetool.com and the lead developer of the Mergetool product. He holds a Master of Science degree from the Technical University of Denmark.

In 1992, Mogensen began working for PC&C A/S, which later became the Danish enterprise software company Navision A/S in Denmark (later acquired by Microsoft). One of Mogensen’s early assignments was to develop the character-based version of the Navision application. He was also responsible for localization and release of the software for five countries in Europe. Mogensen was later responsible for developing VAT/TAX and distribution functionality and many other features included in Navision Financials 1.1 and later.

After leaving Navision, Mogensen worked for ExpandIT Solutions developing web-application and add-on products for Navision and Axapta.

Over the past 10 years, he has been Development Manager for Lanham Associates with responsibility for maintaining high quality and continued improvements of the products.

Since the company Mergetool.com was started in February 2010 has he been working on training and assisting partners with upgrade and conversion to the RoleTailored environment for Dynamics NAV.

Early February 2010 we conducted a Dynamics NAV RTC boot camp with Mergetool.com. The goal was to upgrade our current ISV solution from Dynamics NAV 4 to Dynamics NAV 2009 SP1 RTC.
